I live in a small town in South Georgia called Nashville, where I’ve spent most of my life. I’m blessed with three children—two sons 35 and one daughter 30—and my greatest joy is being “Mimi” to five wonderful grandchildren. I also have an Australian Shepard that I love dearly.

I also run a small plant nursery called Backyard Blooms, where my love for nurturing life extends beyond plants to people. My passion is to encourage others, pray with them, and spend time learning more about God together.

I’ve loved the Lord for as long as I can remember, and my heart’s desire is to walk with Him more closely each day. My hope is that this little corner of the web becomes a cozy place where we can journey together—discovering God’s Word, His promises, and all He has for us. 

 

I love life — not because it’s always easy, but because every challenge reminds me that God is preparing me for the purpose He’s placed inside me. I love to laugh and to make others laugh, and nothing blesses my heart more than encouraging someone and watching hope return to their eyes after we talk, spend time together, or pray.
My family is my world. Everything we’ve walked through has made us stronger, closer, and more grateful. And above all, God is first in everything I do. He is my Father, my Friend, my King, and the Lord of my life. My prayer is that I grow closer to Him every single day until the moment I see Him face to face.
